How it works

  • Students, host partners and mentors are introduced to the programme expectations, responsibilities and placement process.

  • Students are matched with suitable host environments based on their course, skills, interests and available opportunities.

  • Students complete real tasks, log hours, submit reflections and collect evidence of their work.

  • Mentors and host partners provide feedback, attendance validation and final sign-off to support WIL completion.

Placements may expose students to areas such as content, design, social media, fashion, photography, video, e-commerce, PR, events, digital marketing and other creative-industry functions.

The focus is always on meaningful participation rather than observation.
